God calls on all of us to share our time, talent and treasure. St. Anthony of Padua has over 60 ministries to choose from. Each ministry is described in the Ministry Directory. We are the hands of Christ and have been called to live as stewards in today’s world. We use our hands to care for and share the gifts we have been given. Your hands may look simple and ordinary, but they are capable of making an extraordinary impact on today’s world. The Parish community is supported by the generosity of parishioners and benefactors. This Christian duty is a reminder that what we have is not really our own, but something that we have "stewardship" over, taking care of all of God's creation. Proverbs 3:9-10 speaks about tithing: "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with first fruits of all your produce; then will your barns be filled with plenty, with new wine your vats will overflow."

In order to assist in the call for all Christians to tithe, St. Anthony of Padua encourages parishioners to use "Abundant" -- a safe and easy way to support the parish. Signing Up is easy:

Step 1: Create a New Account

Go to the Abundant login page https://abundant.co/stanthonyofpaduarcc/give and click Sign up for a New Account.

Step 2: Select the amount of your contribution

Step 3: Select Ministry from the dropdown on the right

Step 4: Provide your email

Step 5: Select method of payment and create your account

Step 6: Enter Your Account Info

Your will need to create a User ID. This information is case-sensitive and must be 6-12 characters long, containing letters and numbers. You will also need to create an 8-16 character password containing letters, numbers, and at least one symbol. You will need to provide some details, such as your name, address, phone number. The provider is secure and this information will be protected.

Step 7: Print your receipt

Diocesan Policy requires that all volunteers and staff go through VIRTUS Training. VIRTUS aims to protect the most vulnerable in our community, our children. Once a parishioner contacts the coordinator of a ministry, they will be asked to complete a VIRTUS training course, which is offered through the diocese. In order to sign-up, please do so online or call the Rectory at 261-1077 for assistance. St. Anthony of Padua invites you to participate in our Tree of Life.

The History of St. Anthony Parish in East Northport, like that of its founding families, is one of dedication. Just as the branches of a tree strengthen and grow, we too have grown stronger in our faith and mission.

As we look back with gratitude for all the wonderous things this parish has done for so many, we hope to welcome more parishioners through sacramental and ministerial programs.

The monies raised by the Tree of Life will be used for necessary repairs of buildings and for helping support the various ministires of the Church that support our community.

The Tree of Life honors our faithful parishioner's families & friends. Persons, special events and anniversaries may also be honored by donating and requesting a specific name or names be engraved.

The Tree of Life is located in the side alcove of St. Anthony of Padua Church. It is a lasting, permanent tribute and memorial to those names engraved. Your offerings will help our parish secure its future and with each branch our tree will blossom and become stronger yet.
